About Us

This new necklace series tries to capture those special adventure moments that make our state so unique. Using carved bone and stone beads as the media and traditional smoke - tanned moosehide as my canvas, I let each story build, one bead at a time. The necklaces are just another way to hold on to good memories.

"3 Bears" - Story necklace. Carved moon, carved polar bears/with mother of pearl, Dichroin glass , northern lights, finished with glass and metal beads.

"Fireweed Conversation"

The moose and the fox are carved bone beads. The fox is perched on a copper nugget. Copper, glass and bone beads finish the story.

"Northern Nights"

The two polar bears are carved soapstone beads. I used bugle beads for the Aurora and assorted glass and Hematite beads to complete the necklace.

The bear and the eagle are carved bone beads and the fish is a carved stone piece. Glass, bone and metal beads complete this piece.
